We grant free updates for a full year to anyone who registers a given illumineX product for Mac OS X. This includes both major and minor releases.
The amusing reality is that our registration and update system doesn't presently have any way to enforce this policy, so for now, everyone who registers gets updates indefinitely. (You're welcome.) Someday if we find a round tuit laying about, we might fix that. (Tuits are hard to come by -- especially the round ones.)
To update your software, you can use the "Check for Updates" features built into the products, or download the latest version of the product from our software page. You can see the current version of the product you are running in the "About" panel of every application, or the configuration panel of the Screen Savers.
