Understanding Your Needs

When you call us, we'll be asking lots of questions designed to help determine your business objectives and other hosting needs. Once we've reached agreement with you on a plan that can meet your needs, we can install and configure your site.

iX Fully Managed Hosts

If you select one of the iX Fully Managed sites, either Dedicated or Shared/Virtual, we'll help you with the entire process leading up to a live site. Some of those steps include:

• DNS setup - host name(s) ("URL")
• SSL - Secure HTTP configuration
• RDBMS - configuration of relational database
• Apache - configuration and tuning
• WebObjects - installation and configuration of your application

Customer Self Managed Hosts

For a "bare metal" system in a Customer Self Managed setting, this includes hardware setup and DNS setup. After that, we'll give you the logon information to the server(s) under your control and let you rock and roll on your new site.
