illumineX acquires ecto

As part of an effort to develop a blogging application for the iPhone, illumineX acquired ecto from Adriaaan Tijsseling in the spring of 2008. We've been using ecto since the early days, and we love it as much as anyone. The ecto foundation brings a world class blogging application, iBlogger, to the iPhone and iPod Touch.

ecto remains under active development. The ecto 3 beta, in use by thousands, has seen support added for several languages, as well as various other improvements over the past few months. illumineX is working closely with Adriaan on ecto and iBlogger in order to bring you the best blogging experience on your iPhone and Mac.
