Games
These illumineX games are available for free download and will operate in a trial mode where some game features are not available. If you wish to purchase a permanent license key choose "Register Online Now..." from the game's application menu.
The illumineX registration system will connect directly to our commerce servers using the same encrypted SSL technology that a web browser uses. The system will retrieve and install your license for you in real time for instant access to the full game features.
To install the game, download the disk image (.dmg file) using the links on the right. When the image is downloaded to your hard disk (probably on your desktop) you can double click the file and it will get added to your desktop as a software "disk" with the name of the game. Open the "disk" and you will see the application icon. Drag this icon to somewhere on your hard drive (we suggest the /Applications folder). When it is done copying, eject the software "disk" and then drag the dmg file to the trash.
In addition, after installing a game, you can choose "Check for Updates..." from the game's application menu to check for and download updates to the current game.
Free Stuff!
illumineX has made a set of 11 screensavers that you can download and use for free. There are original screen savers including BabelBloX, RoX, & MarbleX, that are based on illumineX arcade games, Xirtam, an OpenGL screen saver based the green flowing symbols in the movie The Matrix and a bunch of classic screen saver modules from the NeXT days that have been updated for Mac OS X.
Each Screen Saver has tunable options that let you play with the look and feel.
We also threw in one ultra-classic module: iX Fireworks, not because it's cool, but because it amuses us. We hope it amuses you, too.
